- O número especial da Pessoa Plural dedicado à Coleção Fernando Távora assinala a necessidade e a oportunidade de se revisitar este espólio, com vista a desenvolver novas leituras do modernismo português, como aquelas que aqui já se apresentam. Este volume valoriza amplamente vários manuscritos até aqui desconhecidos que constam nesta coleção – nomeadamente de poesia e correspondência inédita de Fernando Pessoa, Mário de Sá-Carneiro, Raul Leal, Alfredo Pedro Guisado, José Régio, Teixeira Cabral, entre outros – propondo novas linhas de interpretação da Geração de Orpheu e de alguns intelectuais e artistas que a valorizaram nas décadas seguintes. Procura-se ainda oferecer um retrato da personalidade de Fernando Távora, de algum modo espelhada na coleção de manuscritos e impressos que o arquiteto criou ao longo da sua vida, e de que aqui se apresenta uma seleção.

- The special issue of Pessoa Plural dedicated to the Fernando Távora Collection points to the need to revisit this archive and the opportunity of doing so, in order to develop new insights on Portuguese Modernism, such as those already gathered here. This volume reveals and highlights many manuscripts hitherto unknown, which are part of this collection–namely unpublished poetry and correspondence by Fernando Pessoa, Mário de Sá-Carneiro, Raul Leal, Alfredo Pedro Guisado, José Régio, Teixeira Cabral, among others–proposing new lines of interpretation of the Orpheu Generation and of some intellectuals and artists that defended it in the following decades. This special issue also seeks to offer a portrait of Fernando Távora, which is mirrored in the collection of manuscripts and printed documents that he created throughout his life, a part of which is studied here.
