  <mods:abstract>This paper addresses the fraud wire challenges faced by business entities with a focus on targets that may not immediately come to mind. Leaders of small businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions need to know they are being targeted because of the sensitive information they collect.  This work discusses the challenge and gives highlights some practical solutions to help combat the problem.  A large portion of this project focuses on wire fraud in real estate transactions.  Although the lender and mortgage broker may be sophisticated enough to deal with cyber threats, the real estate attorneys, often solo practitioners, may not be. Education about these types of attacks, adoption of technological protections, and changes in policies are all pieces of the solution proposed in the paper.</mods:abstract>
