Abstract (lang="por")

The crucial phase in the author’s literary theorization and practice is marked by the discovery of Maurice Maeterlinck’s work, strongly anchored in the notion of static theater. The contact with Franco-Belgian symbolist theater would decisively influence not only Pessoa’s practice, but also his idea of Heteronymism, perceived as a drama in people: an extradiegetic variety of the static theater.
