Abstract:
A police officer guards the solitary confinement cell of Proudhon, a social theorist, journalist and enemy of Napoleon III. A man with wounds is telling the guard to keep Proudhon inside of the cell. In the background, several men hold up a flag that says, "Les délégués du Luxembourg".
