Un cortège colonial au Trocadéro: Cliché obtenu avec les objectifs Zeiss-Krauss

Description

Abstract:
Colonial procession at the 1900 Paris World Fair. The 1900 fair was marked by numerous processions and parades of both military troups and civilians coming from France's colonies. Here they are seen passing by the "stéréorama mouvant." A stereorama functioned like a panorama (circular or semi-circular large canvass designed to produce the illusion of being in the picture) except that it included a decorative bakground in order to produce a three dimensional effect as well as light and sound effects.
