- Abstract
- Panoramic view of the 1900 Paris World Fair. The first building in the foreground of the image is the entrance gate designed especially for the exhibit. On the right of the gate stand the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais, and facing them (on the left bank of the river Seine) is the Esplanade des Invalides. The fair occupied mostly the Champ de Mars (in the background), next to the Eiffel Tower.
