Abstract
The Chew Kee Store is a Chinese rammed earth structure established as an herb shop in 1855. The store provided groceries and medicinal herbs to the Chinese community of Fiddletown, CA in the 1800s. It is one of only four remnants of the once thriving Chinese community of Fiddletown.
