- Luis Fernando Verissimo is a multimedia writer: he is a chronicler in newspapers of national circulation, cartoonist, author of short stories and a novel; he writes scripts for television; he has worked for the newspaper, radio—and sometimes he plays sax. He began writing at the age of 30, and in that time as a reader he stored a language of strong visual impact, capable of catching the attention of either a mature reader or a beginner. In an hour of conversation, on March 19, 1993, in the house where he lived with his father, Erico Verissimo, he contradicts somewhat the fame of shy and monosyllabic when trying to analyze a trajectory of text, drawing and music.

- Luis Fernando Verissimo é multimídia: cronista consagrado em jornais de circula ção nacional, cartunista, autor de contos e de um romance, escreve roteiros para televisão, passou pela redação publicitária, pelo rádio e, às vezes, toca sax. Começou a escrever aos 30 anos, e nesse tempo de leitor armazenou uma linguagem de forte impacto visual, capaz de prender a atenção de um leitor maduro ou de um iniciante. Em uma hora de conversa, no dia 19 de março de 93, na casa onde morou com seu pai, Erico Verissimo, ele contradiz um pouco a fama de tímido e monossilábico, ao tentar analisar uma trajetória de texto, desenho e música.
