- António José Miranda foi uma das mais emblemáticas personalidades de Santo Tirso. Homem de grande determinação, a sua carreira de médico conjugou-se com uma contínua preocupação com as necessidades individuais e coletivas da sua terra. Ao longo das décadas, colecionou um multifacetado conjunto de obras de arte, incluindo quadros, uma coleção de numismática, vasos gregos ou a vasta e completa biblioteca, na qual Fernando Pessoa e o seu contexto se dão a ver. É este homem de grande rigor e coerência humana que damos a conhecer neste breve perfil.

- António José Miranda was among Santo Tirso’s most emblematic figures. A man with a strong sense of purpose, Miranda combined his career as a doctor with an ongoing concern about the individual and collective needs of his community. Throughout several decades, he acquired a multifaceted art collection, including paintings, coins, Greek vases, and a vast and comprehensive library in which Fernando Pessoa and his context come to light. This short profile attempts to introduce Miranda, a man of exceptional rigor and consistency.
