Description

Abstract:
In an effort to subvert the stigma associated with mental illness in native communities the intervention is divided into two parts; the brain and the mind. The brain section focuses on teaching relevant biological, physiological, and chemical mechanisms affecting emotional dysregulation. The mind section is aimed at improving self-awareness, emotional communication, and self-efficacy.
