Evaluating the Association Between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Depression During Pregnancy in People Who Have Given Birth in Rhode Island: Findings from 2016-2018 PRAMS

Description

Abstract:
In this study we hope to understand whether depression during pregnancy can be influenced by adverse childhood experiences, which have been proven to take a physical toll on the body. If so, depression during one's pregnancy could potentially be prevented or managed with trauma-informed treatments and interventions.
