Making the Case for Principal Mentoring

Abstract:
This booklet takes a look at the importance of mentoring for both sitting and aspiring principals nationwide. Developed in conjunction with the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the guide is designed specifically for school districts and other educational groups that are creating or refining their own mentoring programs and principals and aspiring leaders who are considering participating. It contains examples of successful and effective programs throughout the country and resources for further reading on the subject. Published 2003 by The Education Alliance at Brown University.
