Photochemistry of copper nanowire functionalized Copper tetraphenyl porphyrin

Description

Abstract:
In this research, we mainly focused on the copper(II) tetraphenylporphyrin (Cu-TPP), which can be potentially used on biomedical probing and targeting. While its formation and ground state optical properties are well studied, we are focusing on its excited state optical properties. Being inspired by the idea of the plasmonic properties of the aggregated nanoparticles, we tried assigned the Cu-TPP molecules onto the copper nanowire system and explore the possible plasmonic enhancement effects in this system.
