- Based on texts collected in ‘Literatura, pão e poesia’ (2011) by Sergio Vaz, this article proposes a reflection on the periphery as a way of inhabiting the world and language, being at the same time a space for the political and cultural action that links literature to the ways of organization and meaning of community life.
