Abstract
Terracotta lamp with very round body and slightly depressed discus. Nozzle missing. Small, off-center filling hole ( nearly touching the front rim edge) and a broken off spout. Very light, probably unglazed clay with indistinct décor around central rim and a copulating couple on the discus. Base is an incised circle that is somewhat off center. Probably Byzantine.
