- Abstract
- Abstract
(lang="eng")
- This essay examines Fernando Pessoa’s enduring centrality in Portuguese and world literature. It traces how the multifaceted and fragmentary nature of his work has influenced successive generations of writers, critics, and artists, from Orpheu to the present. Through the intersections between national and global receptions—literary, philosophical, and intermedial—the text highlights Pessoa’s status as a transmodern figure whose ever-expanding legacy continues to shape contemporary debates across disciplines and cultures.
