- For my APE, I was a Health Equity Fellow at the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS). EOHHS is responsible for developing and implementing policies that guide the operations of all health and human services agencies in the state including the departments of Health (RIDOH); Human Services (DHS); Office of Healthy Aging (OHA); Office of Veterans Services (VETS); Children, Youth and Families (DCYF); and Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH). EOHHS is also designated as the only state agency to administer the Medicaid program in Rhode Island.
