<mods:abstract>Overview: The purpose of this data analysis is to inform the development of a high-performing structure and model that further strengthens Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island’s connections with those they serve. Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island: • Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island (MOWRI)’s mission is to meet the nutritional and social needs of homebound older adults in Rhode Island so they can maintain safe and independent lifestyles. • MOWRI works to address the issues of food insecurity and social isolation among homebound older adults. • Their vision is to build a Rhode Island where all seniors live nourished lives with independence and dignity. Background: • Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island (MOWRI) has operated a call center beginning in 2021. • MOWRI strives to use technology & data-informed decision-making to improve the client experience. However, since the call center’s initiation, data has been collected and not analyzed. • My role as a Data Analyst with MOWRI was to view trends and suggest ways to improve the call center’s efficiency. • This data analysis serves as a way to establish baseline metrics to inform target measures and quality improvement efforts.</mods:abstract>
