- Documentary of the takeover of University Hall at Brown University on April 24, 1975. A group of students known as the Third World Coalition occupied the main administration building on the Brown University campus for 38.5 hours. The goal was to call attention to the lack of progress by the University on the commitments made after the "black walkout" of 1968 to, among other things, incresae the nubmer of African Americans admitted to Brown University, the amount of financial aid given to those students, and the number of African American faculty and staff. The film was created by Oren Jacoby (Class of 1977), Lars Ruud (Class of 1977), and Miriam B. White (Class of 1975). The original 16mm film was made possible by grants from the Organization of United African Peoples and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
