- Abstract:
- The article discusses the challenges in the implementation of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines for multinational enterprises (MNEs). Topics include the effects of the expansion of MNEs which resulted to environmental breakdown and neglect, income inequality, and human rights abuses, the Protect, Respect and Remedy framework of the United Nations with respect to human rights and the normative innovation of the guidelines since 2000.
