Regulating Multinational Corporations: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities

Abstract:
The article focuses on the policies in the regulation in multinational corporations. The author discusses the challenges in the implementation of regulations for multinational enterprises (Mmes) which include, the issue of extraterritoriality, legal incoherence due to wide variation of the policy, and the implication of taxation regimes in production chains. Also discussed are various approaches employed in the regulation of MNEs including state's development of laws and standards.
