- The article focuses on how to understand the variations and conflicts regarding immigration policy. It discusses several perspectives that could help people understand policy variations and conflicts such as the economic growth, rights liberalism, and the traditional communities perspectives. Information regarding the challenges face by the industrialized states relating to the sustainability of economic growth and welfare states is also provided.
