Abstract:
The article offers the author's insight on the link between urban poverty and drug prohibition. Topics discussed include the study entitled "Urban De-vitalization: How the Policy of Drug Prohibition is Destroying Our City Neighborhoods," by activist Frank Fulbrook, drug policy reforms, and the economic aspects of prohibition policies for drug and alcohol use.
