An interview with Stephen Walt, professor of International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University is presented. He says that the level of involvement of the U.S. in the Middle East over the last decade was historically unusual. He comments on how the unwillingness of the U.S. to intervene in Syria affects the U.S. image in the Middle East. He offers pieces of advice for the U.S. President for improving Sino-American relations.
