- Abstract:
- The author discusses the radicalization of Muslim communities in Europe, which is part of a complicated web of political, religious and ideological currents. She states that while alienation and lack of integration play an essential part in the radicalization method, they may not be the primary factors encouraging Europe's jihadists to return to terror. She says that the link between such radicalization and the Western's foreign policy in the Muslim world remains an area of contention.
