Definitions and Debates: Sexual Health and Sexual Rights

Description

Abstract:
The article discusses a study that investigated evolving sexual health definitions as to the concept of sexual rights. Topics covered include definition of health rights by the World Health Organization (WHO) and review of literature in medical and social databases as well as books and articles from 1990 - 2016. Findings indicated the importance of an ecological approach for maintaining physical health along with progressive health policies to address issues in sexual health for all people.
