Description
- Abstract:
- An interview with "Folha de S. Paulo" Senior Reporter and Editorial Writer Fabiano Maisonnave is presented. He discusses accountability and self-censorship in the changing media landscape. Maisonnave cites the crisis in many traditional newspapers with the emergence of the Internet as news distribution platform. He says that in the Amazon, more than fifty percent of television news outlets are controlled by politicians. He adds that posts about crime on Facebook is not actual journalism.
