- Abstract:
- This guide aims to be a valuable place for in-house counsel to go to help them understand and address cybersecurity concerns. In-house counsel does not have much time in a day, and this guide is designed with that in mind. This guide currently includes a quick summary of the 14 keys to cybersecurity, a list of key laws related to cybersecurity, policies, articles, programs, books, and additional articles and resources for those who want to dig deeper. Neither a treatise nor a comprehensive discussion of “all things” cybersecurity, this guide is not a list of every recommendation or practice tip out there. This guide is also not a statement of how things should be. Not intended to answer what companies and governments should do, this guide’s focus is answering what inhouse counsel should do to help their company meet their cybersecurity challenges.
