Lugares selectos de los autores latinos de prosa mas excelentes: para exercicio de la traduccion, con notas que la facilitan

Description

Notes:
"Prologo" and "Noticia de los autores ..." in Spanish. Remainder of text in Latin.
Not all exemplars have the "Noticia de los autores de estas selectas" (p. 1-40 [2nd count]). John Carter Brown Library copy 1 does not; copy 2 does. Apparently the copy, presumably imperfect, described by Medina (that held by the Biblioteca Nacional del Perú?) does/did not. But the "Noticia de los autores de estas selectas" is indexed in the "Indice de los autores de estas selectas" (p. [1-2] of 4 p. at end) in both John Carter Brown Library copies. In this regard, it should be noted that in the index "El primer numero indica la pag. de las Vidas, el segundo la de las Selectas."
Numerous errors in pagination.
Includes half-title page and "Erratas en las Selectas" (p. [3-4] at end)
Signatures: pi² 2pi 1² 2-5 6² A-2B 2C² ²2C-2E [F]² 2G-2N (pi1 verso blank)
Title-page device, head and tail pieces.
Includes bibliographical references and index.
