Abstract:
1st in pair of colored aquatints by Havel & Son after Haverty, 'after original sketches taken on the spot by J.L.R.', published March 1821; King standing, with seated entourage, in open carriage, in center of city square, surrounded by vast crowd of dignitaries, men, women and children spectators, buildings in background; accompanied by engraved identification key.
