Manuscript preliminary page of explanation; wash-drawing title-page (allegorical scene including William of Orange); 18 wash-drawing half-length portraits (of which 1 is unfinished) of Dutch and European rulers, generals, admirals, bishops etc., including 13 in military costume; probably executed by a Dutch artist. No. 1, half-length portrait in full armor under cloak, holding document which reads: 'Requzen (?) Prins. Mau van Nass. Stadthan dt of (?) Cleve', cavalry battle in left background
