Abstract:
Title plate and 6 hand-colored engraved plates of uniform groups, outdoors; plate 6, published Augt. 1, 1799; chaplain in dark purple cloak, with walking stick, and Kalmuk in blue smock, shooting arrow from bow. From a series of 6 prints entitled 'An Exact Representation of the Various Characters, Uniforms, and Attendants, also of the singular species of Horses, Composing the Russian Army under General Sunarrow'.

Oblong folio, unbound; slightly soiled; in green cloth slipcase, red leather label stamped gold.
