- O texto que se segue constitui a segunda seção do artigo “As novelas policiárias de Fernando Pessoa e o fair play da ficção policial”, publicado em Pessoa Plural, número 23. Argumenta-se que a leitura das novelas da série Quaresma, Decifrador, independentemente da ordem em que se a faça, constitui uma espécie de educação do leitor em relação às (novas) regras do fair play proposto por Fernando Pessoa. Trata-se de um processo que implica um conceito particular de coesão e completude que desafia a tradição do gênero policial.
- The following text constitutes the second section of the article “Fernando Pessoa's novelas policiárias and the fair play of detective fiction”, published in Pessoa Plural, issue 23. It is argued that reading the novels from the series Quaresma, Decifrador, regardless of the order in which it is done, constitutes an education for the reader in relation to the (new) rules of fair play proposed by Fernando Pessoa. It is a process that implies a particular concept of cohesion and completeness that challenges the tradition of the detective genre.
