Abstract:

Notes:
Suggested publication date from ms. inscription on Brown University Rider Broadsides copy; Henry Bowen, who began his term as Secretary of State in 1819, would have been a 16-year incumbent in 1835-36.
The Rhode Island manual 1884-85, p. 96, has Henry Bowen as Secretary from 1819 to 1849.
