Includes numbered list of 48 named oil paintings.
Range of publication dates suggested because of 1887 date for illustration on page [1] and because Hamilton is listed in Providence directories for 1884-1888 as a teacher in the Rhode Island School of Design but as "removed to Paris, France" in the 1889 directory.
