Periodical published for Providence performances of The drummer boy, acted by 150 veterans and "thirty ladies of this city." Includes program, description of performance, information about G.A.R. relief work, anecdotes and advertisements.

Printed in three columns with the center column twice as wide as the others on page [1] and in four columns on other pages, divided by single lines.
At top of center column on page [1]: Harrington's Opera House. Monday evening, April 11, 1870, and five succeeding evenings, grand military allegory of The drummer boy or, Battle of Shiloh!
Masthead on page [2]: The drummer boy, published daily during the Drummer boy performance by Prescott Post No. 1, G.A.R. Circulation 20,000. Pierce & Budlong, Printers, 36 Westminster Street.
