Abstract:
Early field organizing in the Alinsky model. Extensive experience in building statewide coalitions (labor, consumer, environmental, utilities). Early adoption of electoral strategies to accompany issue campaigns. Citizens Action Campaign; Illinois Public Action; nationwide Public Action; moved into electoral organizing in the late ‘70’s.
