Description

Abstract:
Strong attachment to movement-building in addition to traditional community organizing. Importance of branding and concise messaging. Left the organization he founded, and now it is even stronger. Worked with ACT-UP, Hunger Action Network, founded Community Voices Heard. Went to Center for Community Change’s National Campaign for Jobs and Income Support; now works with People’s Climate Network.
