Ron Snyder, guided by his faith, left seminary school to pursue organizing. He was heavily involved with organizing efforts at the Oakland Community Organization (OKO) and PICO, and he witnessed their transitions from neighborhood organizations to faith-based coalitions. Through a faith-based pedagogy, he has worked largely on issues of housing and education over the years, though the scope of the organizations extend in reach.
