Abstract:
Poem, in several meters, describes record of past year, with a Hungarian revolt and French suppression of a Roman revolt against the Pope, warns against Southern talk of disunion, speaks of California and requests tip.
Notes:
Printed in three columns divided by single lines within border of type ornament sections.
At head of text: Midnight.
In lower margin within border: New-York, January 1st, 1850.
