Modern trends in hospitalizations for croup: is disease severity increasing?

Description

Abstract:
Croup is a common cause of upper airway obstruction in children that often requires urgent management in the emergency department. More severe cases require inpatient hospitalization and can be associated with significant morbidity and health care costs.
