Description

Abstract:
Steere's bronze head of Lincoln, as cast and photographed by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. The photograph includes the Gorham production code. A penciled note on the back of the photograph indicates that copies of Steere's sculpture were then found at Lincoln Memorial University (Cumberland Gap, Tennessee) and in the Library of the USC art museum.
