Photograph of books from Abraham Lincoln's personal library. This image was used in the book Lincoln the Lawyer, by Frederick Trevor Hill (1906). The books are (from left to right): "Religious Truth Illustrated from Science" - Hitchcock: "Gibbon's Rome" 4 vols: "Dictionary of Congress" - Lanman ; "Paley's Works" : "Angell on Limitations" : "The Republican Party" - Summer, 1860 ; "The Illinois Conveyancer" and "A Dictionary of Primary Schools".
