- Reproduz-se aqui, integralmente, o texto do manifesto político-literário O Bando Sinistro de Raul Leal (1886-1964), marco da literatura modernista portuguesa, dadas as suas repercussões no seio do grupo de colaboradores da revista Orpheu. A apresentação do documento inclui, como posfácio, uma detalhada análise das diligências tomadas para a produção e distribuição do manifesto, assim como dos antecedentes sociais e políticos que lhe serviram de base.
- The political-literary manifesto The Sinister Band (O Bando Sinistro) by Raul Leal (1886-1964) is here reproduced in its entirety. The manifesto represents a landmark in the Portuguese modernist literary movement, due to its repercussions for the group of collaborators of the modernist magazine Orpheu. The presentation of the document includes, as postscript, a detailed analysis of the steps taken for the production and distribution of the manifesto, as well as a study of the underlying social and political context.
