- Esta coletânea de poemas, nascida devagar entre dois países, duas línguas e inúmeras casas (feitas de paredes e de lembrança), explora os temas da memória, deslocamento, herança ancestral e persistente resistência. Escritos em meio a dias partidos, longas ausências e silêncios impostos, os poemas brotam das raízes, do mar e do legado das mulheres que antecederam a autora. Estruturada em seis partes temáticas, a obra move-se sequencialmente: começando pelo grito inicial e contido e a fusão da terra e do sal; progredindo para o íntimo, o corpo, a perda e o amor ferido; explorando a instabilidade e fertilidade das casas ancestrais e das paisagens influenciadas pela maré; confrontando a intersecção entre carne, herança e tempo através de cicatrizes e raízes profundas; dando voz ao não dito e aos ecos suspensos das mulheres silenciadas e das casas fechadas; e concluindo com um regresso a si. Em última análise, a coletânea é descrita como uma tentativa profunda de costurar tempo e pele com palavras, procurando um lugar de permanência encontrado apenas no ato transformador da poesia.
- This collection of poems, born slowly between two countries, two languages, and countless homes (both tangible and remembered), explores themes of memory, displacement, ancestral heritage, and persistent survival. Written amidst periods of fragmentation, absence, and imposed silence, the poems are drawn from deep roots, the sea, and the legacy of preceding women. Structured into six thematic parts, the work moves sequentially: beginning with the initial, contained cry and the fusion of earth and salt; progressing inward to the body, loss, and wounded love; exploring the instability and fertility of ancestral houses and sea-influenced landscapes; confronting the intersection of flesh, inheritance, and time through scars and deep roots; giving voice to the unsaid and lingering echoes of silent women and shuttered homes; and concluding with a return to self. Ultimately, the collection is described as a profound effort to stitch time and skin with words, seeking a final, permanent dwelling place found only within the transformative act of poetry.
