Association between not being able to afford needed medical care and receiving a flu shot in the last 12months among noninstitutionalized U.S. adults (18+): BRFSS, 2016

Description

Abstract:
In a cross-sectional study, the author analyzed Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data to determine the association between not having the ability to afford needed medical care, and getting a flu shot. The underlying intent of this research is to determine if financially prioritizing other things over needed medical care has any relation to preventative care, like a flu shot.
