Clean Indoor Air: A Guide for State Leaders to Improve Indoor Air Quality

Description

Abstract:
The State Guide for Clean Indoor Air provides an evidence-based roadmap for state and local leaders to strengthen indoor air quality policy, protect public health, and reduce disease transmission. The guide highlights the practical steps that state leaders can take to improve indoor air quality in their state and local public buildings. The guide focuses on three priority areas for action: strengthen coordination and capacity, accelerate improvements, and target high-priority sectors. The guide draws on case studies from across the country, including states that have set standards for public buildings, schools that have adopted IAQ management plans, and state health departments leading the way.
