Data for Investigating Layered Cratonic Lithosphere in the Fennoscandian Shield

Description

Abstract:
This dataset contains the Rayleigh wave phase velocity data set for the Fennoscandian Shield and the Vsv model for the crust and uppermost mantle estimated from phase velocity and Sp receiver functions. The files named with ‘Rphvel_period’, where the variable periods range from 20 to 100 s, contain the Rayleigh wave phase velocity maps used for joint inversion. The first two columns are longitude and latitude, and the third column represents phase velocity. The 32 s -100 s Rayleigh wave phase velocity maps are generated in this study using Eikonal tomography. The 20 s and 25 s maps are weighted averages of teleseismic and ambient noise phase velocities from Mauerberger et al. (2022). The file ‘Vsv.nc’ contains the Vsv model developed in this study, providing Vsv values at every location from the surface down to a depth of 250 km.
