Description
- Abstract:
- The writer Donna Freitas asks the Big Questions and is not shy about doing so: Who are we? Why are we here? And What is the meaning of life? Born in Rhode Island to an Italian mother and a Portuguese father Freitas spent most of her childhood in a state of belief and disbelief. At a young age questioning God and the church, as well as her own place in the universe. Her voice now is the call of a generation of new seekers, people who ask and puzzle out and carry a banner saying “Why am I here?” Her books travel through the landscape of what are often perceived as the difficult questions of faith, church, creativity, self worth, honesty and the notion of human existence and self worth.
