- This text presents the special issue of the Pessoa Plural journal on films based on the life and works of Fernando Pessoa. Its starting point was to react to the scarcity of critical studies on the subject. A vast corpus of films and film documents inspired by Pessoa’s life and works is revealed, covering various genres and historical periods. The dossier is presented, text by text. Issue 25 brings together articles, critical analyses, scripts, set photographs, and other materials. The emergence of a new field of study under a multiplicity of approaches is highlighted. The dossier aims to stimulate research and reflection on the cinematic universe surrounding Pessoa.
- Este texto apresenta o dossiê especial da revista Pessoa Plural sobre filmes baseados na vida e obras de Fernando Pessoa. Seu ponto de partida foi reagir à escassez de estudos críticos sobre o tema. Revela-se um vasto corpus de filmes e documentos fílmicos inspirados na vida e obras de Pessoa, abrangendo diversos gêneros e períodos históricos. Apresenta-se o dossiê, texto a texto. O número 25 reúne artigos, análises críticas, roteiros, fotografias de set e outros materiais. Destaca-se o surgimento de um novo campo de estudo, sob uma multiplicidade de abordagens. O dossiê propõe estimular a pesquisa e a reflexão sobre o universo cinematográfico em torno de Pessoa.
